The brief
A band’s website that feels like their world, not a template: late at night, a room lit by a television, and something always on.
What I built
A website where a television is the interface, made for Night Ferry, a fictional band from a harbour town.
- A remote changes the channel: music on 02, the tour diary on 03, photos on 04, and tour dates on a ferry departures board on 05.
- Teletext holds the details, including a live shipping forecast built from Open-Meteo's marine and weather data.
- An unlisted channel shows a night drive drawn live on canvas, rain on the glass and all.

How it works
Astro serves each channel as a real, indexable page, and a small script runs the set, the remote and the tuning. The picture is canvas and CSS, and the sound runs through Web Audio.
What came of it
A demo built around a band that doesn’t exist. The same set works for any artist, label or venue that wants a website people remember.
