The work

  1. 01Demo website · 2026

    Broadcast Demo

A website for a fictional band, where a television is the interface. A remote changes the channel, teletext carries a live shipping forecast, and the tour dates flap on a departures board.

    Demo for a fictional band

A demo built around a band that doesn’t exist. The same set works for any artist, label or venue that wants a website people remember.

  2. 02Demo website · 2026

    Late Edition Demo

A fictional pocket zine for people who work nights, read by turning pages: two-colour print, tabs you can tear, stickers you can peel, and a story folded into the middle.

    Demo for a fictional zine

A demo issue with a fictional masthead, written and built end to end. The same approach suits a magazine, a menu or an annual report.

  3. 03Website · 2026

    unæthered

A website for an anonymous AI image practice, where the homepage is a sampler: a prompt types itself, and the picture resolves out of noise as the sentence grows.

    Live

Live at unaethered.com. By the time someone has played with the homepage, they know what a prompt weight does: the site explains the craft by letting you use it.

  4. 04Tribute web app · 2026

    Euclid

Windows 98 and Windows XP rebuilt in the browser, and Clippy will switch between them in place: a working desktop with Paint, Notepad, Minesweeper, Pinball, Winamp and AIM.

Live tribute, not affiliated with Microsoft

Euclid is live as a tribute: the look belongs to Microsoft, and Paint builds on 1j01’s Windows 98 project. It’s here for the craft: a large app, an unforgiving target for fidelity, and a test suite that keeps it honest.

  5. 05iPhone app, Chrome extension and website · 2025

    ShutterCoach

A photography mentor that critiques the shot you took and teaches the next one. On the App Store.

On the App Store, rated 5.0 (2 ratings)

ShutterCoach is live on the App Store and the Chrome Web Store. It’s free to try for five days, then a one-time $9.99 instead of a subscription. It shipped across two platforms and a backend, with the website and marketing built from the same codebase.

  6. 06iPhone game and website · 2026

    Solitaire Nook

Cozy pixel-art solitaire for iPhone, with a website that boots like a 1998 desktop. No ads, no tracking, no streak guilt.

    Free on iPhone

Solitaire Nook is free on the App Store. The site sells it the same way the game plays: calm, a little nostalgic, and never in your way.

  7. 07Web tool · 2025

    Recipe

Converts Nikon picture controls to Lightroom presets and back, entirely in the browser. Nothing is uploaded.

    Live in the browser

Recipe is live for anyone to use, and the file never leaves the machine.

  8. Also builtAgent platform · 2026

    Nightshift

The night shift for a studio’s AI agents: one gateway and five departments of tools they all work through, and a control room where a person makes the final calls.

    Private, in daily use

It runs a real studio’s production every day, and keeps it moving between sessions. It’s the same kind of work I’d do for you: automation that takes on the repetitive work, with a person still holding the decisions.

  9. Also builtOpen-source developer tool · 2026

    xcforge

An MCP server and command-line tool that lets AI agents and terminals build, test, automate and diagnose iOS projects.

    Open source (MIT)

xcforge is public and MIT-licensed, so all of it is there to read: the code on GitHub, the tools, and how they fit together. It’s the same kind of automation work I’d do for you, done in the open.

  10. Also builtWeb app · 2026

    Petal

A day planner for fourth-grade teachers, with a view that is safe to put on the Smart Board.

    In active development

Built with the teacher it’s for, which made every decision easier: if it didn’t help a real Tuesday, it didn’t ship.

  11. Also builtiPhone and Chrome extensions · 2026

    SafariBridge

Brings your iPhone’s Safari tabs and history to Chrome on a Windows PC, encrypted so the relay in between can’t read them.

    Prototype, in progress

Tab capture works end to end on a real iPhone. It’s a prototype for now, built for one person first, and a good example of the problems I like: two platforms that don’t talk, joined carefully.
